Pack 633
Bellevue, WA

Cub Scouting

is a family focused, parent-led activity. While the focus is on the boys and girls, it really centers around building a bond between children and their parents. Therefore, plan to get involved! Different from organized sports, Cub Scouts is not a drop-off program. It is parent-led.

Pack 633

is a fun, active group of elementary kids and their parents, from Puesta del Sol, Spiritridge Elementary, and Eastgate Elementary. We do fun outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and teach values and life skills, such as first aid, a positive attitude, and doing your best, which will help the kids throughout their life.

Costs

For 2023, dues are $150 per full calendar year and are pro-rated if one joins mid-year. New members must also pay a one-time $25 new member registration fee with the BSA.

Dues include $50 towards Pack 633 expenses. Yearly dues cover:

  • Registration with the Seattle Council Lake Shores District of Boy Scouts of America
  • Awards, badges, and activities
  • Den Supplies

Uniforms and Accessories

All the participating scouts are asked to provide their own Scout Book, Scout shirts and belts. Shirts and the accessories are available at the Scout Store online (https://www.scoutshop.org/). Short sleeve shirts are suggested so the kids don’t grow out of them. If you need help with uniform costs, please talk to our Cubmaster.

Fundraiser

We have one fundraiser a year, the Cub Scout Popcorn Sale in the fall, with year-round sales online. This helps fund our Pack for the year.

Camping/Overnight

There are several overnight opportunities throughout the year. As a Pack, we participate in a region wide Winter Camp in February, near Mt. Rainier. Highlights include snow tubing and archery. We stay in heated cabins.
